Panos Kasimis is a photographer and artist with nearly four decades of experience. He studied at the Royal College of Art and has been a student of Chris Killip and Mary Ellen Mark. He works on personal artistic projects that evolve into books and exhibitions, as well as assignments for magazines, institutions, and independent publications. His work explores social behavior through the physicality of human contact and our relationship to urban and natural environments.

He has had solo exhibitions in Athens, Rome, Juneau (Alaska, USA), Eindhoven, and Berlin, and has participated in group exhibitions in London, Rome, Paris, Istanbul, and Athens. His work has been published in Greek and international publications and collected in three monographs: Days Away (2009), Urban Diaries (2013), with a preface by Larry Fink, and Babylon (2024). He is also the author of Depth of Field, a collection of essays on photographic theory and practice.

Panos is also an experienced photography educator. He has lectured at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the University of West Attica, and delivered numerous seminars and workshops for photographic clubs and artistic groups. He is a lecturer at the Centrul de Resurse în Fotografie (CdRF) in Bucharest. He currently leads workshops and seminars throughout Greece and Europe alongside his ongoing photographic projects.
