THE BURNING
The mountains of Attica rise around Athens. Each summer, wildfires return to these slopes, rewriting the landscape in ash and memory. The Burning dwells in the aftermath and the quiet that follows flame. Here, the earth is caught between loss and regeneration, between what was and what might return. Rooted in the mountains of Attica yet speaking to something larger, this work reflects on impermanence, on our uneasy bond with nature, on the cost of living in a world we have altered.
There are no answers, only silence and the transformed land.
